We're Hiring - Join our Team!
A young and vibrant business aiming to provide the UK and European markets with quality ingredients, direct to the door.
We are passionate about culinary and botanical ingredients, seeking out the best herbs and spices from the top producers around the world. We only source the highest standard products and by purchasing from source, we can pass these savings on to our customers. We happily supply to both the consumer and trade. Our customers include restaurants and chefs, health food shops, sandwich shops, eBay re-sellers, market traders, sausage manufacturers, seasoning blenders and many households.
About the opportunity
We’re looking for a committed, motivated and creative individual who can jump right in and support us in building a bigger, stronger and more widely recognised brand.
With a huge range of over 1500 products, you’ll be looking for opportunities to link our range with trends and industry news. You’ll also support our new product development team, from proof reading labels and creatives, to carrying out market research and competitor analysis.
We’re able to offer a friendly working environment in a small team of enthusiastic, like-minded food lovers.
You’ll be responsible for driving a large amount of content through our blog and social media pages as well as working with the marketing team on content for newsletters and other projects. You’ll support our new product development team along the way with product launches, liaising with suppliers and contractors, proof reading labels, and maintaining our product database.
Understanding our product range will be the key to success in your role.
Whilst your role will have a strong marketing focus, being a small business, as well as your main duties, you'll have the opportunity to get stuck in with all aspects of the business – all members of the company must be able to answer the phone and assist customers with a friendly and approachable manner.
This role would suit a recent graduate, looking to develop their marketing experience within an e-commerce business environment.
Adaptable and quick to learn you’ll be able to channel your skills into different tasks, whether it be creating content, analysing competitors or reviewing our product listings. You’ll pay exceptional attention to detail and good grammar is an absolute must. You won’t be afraid to bring your own ideas to the table but must be able to follow instruction.
You’ll ideally have a degree or relative experience in Marketing, have used social media platforms in a business environment previously and have experience writing copy or content. Basic skills using Photoshop would be highly desirable. You must be able to use all Microsoft Office programmes.
