Cumin (Cuminum cyminum) is a member of the Apiaceae family. This aromatic has been used since ancient times and is one of the most popular herbs in the world.
Our ground Cumin is ground for ease of use, and adds a tasty aromatic flavour to a range of dishes. Cumin has a robust, earthy and warming flavour. It is a key compnent in asian cookery, often in chilli powder and is often used to flavour rice.
For an exciting twist on Roast chicken, baste with lemon juice, honey and cumin. Serve with paprika sprinkled rpast potatoes for a Spanish style treat.
